We have a great opportunity for an FP&A Finance Manager to join one of the leading multinational manufacturers here in Cork. Reporting to the Site Finance Lead, you will lead a team and become a member of the Operations Leadership team , working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to develop, report, monitor and manage key financial and non-financial performance indicators. 15-month contract with hybrid working options. Competitive overall package and based on the south-west side of Cork (15 minutes from Bishopstown).
Overview of responsibilities (full job spec available on request):
- Lead the preparation and submission of the annual operating budget/forecasts
- Support, evaluate, and assist in the development of standard costs and monthly analysis of production variances
- Complete Monthly Financial closing and Performance Reporting and explanation of variances, including the completion of dashboards
- Steer monthly Cost Tier & drive Cost Governance at the site, driving a focus on site cost-saving/productivity initiatives and development of financial performance metrics
- Partner with Site Finance Lead to provide financial input and advice to our company’s leadership team
- Contribute to site management operational and strategic initiatives
- Support, analyse, and assist in the preparation of R&D Tax Credits submissions and Government Grant claims
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls and procedures of the company and coordinate both internal and external audits including SOX compliance
- Drive continuous process optimization, standardization, and stability
What the ideal candidate looks like:
- 8 years PQE ideally in a multinational manufacturing environment
- Experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting processes and inventory accounting and manufacturing variances
