We are hiring a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair glass-lined and process equipment for customers in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. This is a hands on, customer-facing role with regular travel across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, test, and commission glass-lined process equipment
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and mechanical overhauls
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on site
- Support Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), upgrades, and retrofits
- Prepare service reports, risk assessments, and technical documentation
- Provide technical support, spares advice, and after-sales service
- Build strong customer relationships and support service growth
- Coordinate with internal teams on projects and scheduling
- Deliver customer training when required
Requirements
- Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician / Service Engineer
- Experience with mechanical seals, gearboxes, agitators, or drive systems
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel
Desirable
- Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or process industries
- Exposure to glass-lined equipment or corrosion-resistant systems
