Field Service Engineer - Glass-Lined Equipment

We are hiring a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair glass-lined and process equipment for customers in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. This is a hands on, customer-facing role with regular travel across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, test, and commission glass-lined process equipment
  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and mechanical overhauls
  • Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on site
  • Support Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), upgrades, and retrofits
  • Prepare service reports, risk assessments, and technical documentation
  • Provide technical support, spares advice, and after-sales service
  • Build strong customer relationships and support service growth
  • Coordinate with internal teams on projects and scheduling
  • Deliver customer training when required

Requirements

  • Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician / Service Engineer
  • Experience with mechanical seals, gearboxes, agitators, or drive systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
  • Full driver?s licence and willingness to travel

 Desirable

  • Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or process industries
  • Exposure to glass-lined equipment or corrosion-resistant systems
