The Sales representative will work with the Sales Manager to develop markets and customers (especially new hired customers), achieving sales targets, providing general customer service in the various areas of responsibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Development of markets and customers (especially new hired customers), achieving sales targets, providing general customer service in the various areas of responsibility
  • Responsibility for the development and execution of our Client’s product portfolio within the area, which includes the entire ID, Cardio metabolic and toxicology product portfolios
  • Proposal preparation for customers as well as completion of contracts
  • Ability to articulate issues and business opportunities with relevant customers to secure long term strategic business with customers of national significance
  • Monitor and report on competitive activities

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Primary degree in BA or equivalent work experience in the field of diagnostics
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in Medical Devices or similar environment

 Knowledge/Skills

  • Detailed understanding of the industry
  • Ideally, experience delivering change initiatives and facilitating change in a customer focused organisation
  • Preferential knowledge of the sales market and job profile
  • Ability to think innovatively and not be constrained by current practices
  • Experience in working on strategic topics
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Excellent organisation, facilitator and presentation skills

  • Driven by objectives, solutions, meet the deadlines and customer satisfaction

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must have the discipline, organisation skills and self-motivation to work autonomously in a home office environment. Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Must be physically able to travel up to 70% of the time
