Job Title: Experienced Solar Electrician
Location: Louth (field service role across Leinster)
Our client, a leading provider of solar energy solutions in Ireland, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join its growing installation team. They have built a strong reputation for high-quality workmanship and extensive expertise in the Irish solar industry.
The ideal candidate will hold the relevant qualifications and demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, quality, and customer satisfaction while delivering solar PV installations to a high standard. This is a field-based role with client sites across the Leinster region.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out and manage the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems across residential and commercial sites
Plan, organise, and manage your own workload effectively while maintaining high standards and working efficiently
Supervise and support electrical apprentices working alongside you on installation projects
Communicate confidently with customers and clients, providing clear explanations upon completion of installations
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures at all times on site
Carry out all work in accordance with company standards and industry regulations
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a qualified electrician, with experience in solar PV installation preferred
National Craft Certificate in Electrical
QCI qualification with Safe Electric registration
SEAI Micro Solar Photovoltaic Systems course (preferred, but not essential as training will be provided)
Full clean driving licence
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, renewable energy, and solar PV technology
Proven ability to make sound on-site technical decisions independently
Experience working with or supervising apprentices is highly desirable
Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills
