Our client, one of the largest semiconductor companies in the world is currently recruiting as part of their large scale expansion in Limerick. There are opportunities for Equipment Engineers of all experience to join this exciting project. These roles are based on permanent contracts and will be on a Mon-Fri days-based rota.
Role Responsibilities:
The Equipment Engineer will support the daily operation of the semiconductor manufacturing facility with proven skills in effective problem solving, troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis.
The Equipment Engineer will be involved in cross functional teams with a systematic approach to continuous improvement, using data driven analysis and decision making.
The Equipment Engineer wii drive continuous improvement of KPI’s of semiconductor manufacturing equipment such as % Availability, Mean-Time-To-Repair (MTTR) & Mean-Time-Between-Failure (MTBF).
Review machines/area of an ongoing basis with a view to possible improvements.
Responsibility for environmental issues within your area and ensure you are working towards Company environmental targets.
Responsibility for your own Health & Safety and that of others that you may be in contact with.
Role Requirements:
Education: Ordinary Bachelor’s degrees (NFQ Level 7) or Honours Bachelor’s degrees (NFQ Level 8).
Experience: 4+ years of experience – Maintenance Technician or Engineer, ideally coming from a highly regulated environment or an Equipment Maintenance role within the Semiconductor industry.
Capable of demonstrating analytical troubleshooting methods (Root Cause Analysis, 8D Problem Solving, 5-why), and First Time Right repair skills.
Able to follow preventative maintenance and Standard Work procedures.
