Role Responsibilities:

Strategic Department Management

  • Safety and Compliant Engineering management Systems and Best Practice
  • Effective organisation design to meet site LRP Requirements
  • Budget Management and Cost Reduction
  • Participate in network teams & global improvement projects

EHS

  • Ensure certified EHS Management Systems are in place and maintained 
  • Ensure an interdependent safety culture model is in place with CI at the core 
  • Ensure Environmental compliance with our Regulatory Licences and a culture of environmental best practice is in place      

Maintenance & Calibration Excellence

  • Deliver the maintenance & calibration excellence program to ensure delivery of world class reliability & compliance. 

Capital Program

  • Ensure Project Management Best Practice is in place to deliver on  
  • Maintenance and local site projects
  • Facility & Capacity Expansion Projects
  • EHS, Compliance, Efficiency, Obsolescence, Energy & Sustainability Projects 

Facilities, Utilities, Energy Excellence:

  • Ensure FUE management system is in place so that we maintain Facilities and Utilities to best in class level, with timely upkeep and reinvestment and delivering energy reduction and sustainability programs & projects 

Role Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering related discipline
  • > 10 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry including
  • 5 + years’ experience of Maintenance or Engineering Management 
  • Experience of Condition Monitoring and Predictive Monitoring Programs
  • Experience of Preventative Maintenance Planning Software Packages
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with experience in pharmaceutical equipment
  • Experience in Solid Dosage is preferable but not essential
  • In depth experience in Project Management, preferably within the Pharmaceutical industry
  • > 10 years people management experience
