We are currently looking for anEngineering Manager to join a Biopharmaceutical Company located in Sligo. This role is a permanent, full-time position.

As an Engineering Manager, your duties will include:
Maximise production and utility equipment reliability through planned maintenance execution, rigorous incident investigation and troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventative action implementation.
Identify and manage capital projects in line with site strategic expansion plans, manage scope, schedule, procurement, resources, suppliers, and costs in line with business requirements.
Drive process improvement and waste elimination through operational excellence tools and techniques.
Manage engineering department expense budget including utilities, facilities and repairs, and maintenance
Implement an engineering drawing management process.
Together with EHS, coordinate risk assessments, reviews, and safety inspections to ensure the safety and health of employees, and the environment.
Support, participate, and lead internal and external audit programs.
Requirements
As an Engineering Manager, you will be required to have:
A relevant Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent degree
At least 10 years of industrial experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated skills in designing equipment, plant, and processes, including executing capital projects.
Excellent knowledge of GMP compliance and practical implementation in the engineering manufacturing environment.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Project.
