The Electrical Maintenance Lead will be responsible for leading, managing, and directing a team of highly-skilled electricians in a highly automated industrial processing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute Maintenance activities on electrical equipment including instrumentation, PLCs, and Variable Speed Drives ensuring a safe, reliable plant.
- Ensure all Maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with site policies and procedures.
- Assign Maintenance activities to team members on PEMAC maintenance management systems.
- Minimise downtime on equipment, through fast response, effective root cause analysis, and good problem-solving techniques.
- Maintain a good record of O&M manuals on the server and update them where required.
- Effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems.
- Train Maintenance Electricians on electrical equipment and instrumentation, improve teams' systematic fault-finding skills
- Manage a team of maintenance electricians, electrical apprentices, and contractor electricians.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 Years Experience in an Industrial Electrician Role.
- QQI Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or Equivalent.
- High-level diagnostic and problem-solving skills in an industrial environment.
- Strong Communication Skills and the ability to manage and motivate staff.
- Working knowledge of switchgear, MCC controls, and various AC and DC voltage Systems.
