We are working with our client in Athenry, Co. Galway to recruit an EHS Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities: (full job description available by request)
Maintain and continuously improve the site EHS Management System in line with legal, corporate, and internal compliance standards.
Conduct risk assessments, process reviews, and hazard identification to implement effective control measures.
Perform site inspections, safety audits, and compliance monitoring, reporting findings and corrective actions.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation to prevent recurrence.
Support EHS projects from planning through implementation and completion.
Deliver EHS guidance across operations, including risk prevention, hazardous materials, waste management, and safety controls.
Monitor, analyse, and report EHS KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Develop, review, and maintain EHS procedures, documentation, and ISO 14001 compliance activities.
Deliver health & safety training, inductions, toolbox talks, and promote a proactive safety culture.
Conduct ergonomic assessments, contractor safety reviews (RAMS), and support workplace safety initiatives and regulatory compliance.
