Our client is seeking an EHS Administrator to join their team in Cootehill, Cavan on a temporary 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of all incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
Conduct regular safety inspections of the workplace to identify and address potential hazards
Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions
Attend meetings on behalf of the EHS Team when required to deliver the EHS Agenda and drive continuous improvement across the business
Participate in the development of training presentations and training documentation for review by the EHS Team
Coordinate, Schedule, and track various training to support company programs
Assist in the administration and development of the inhouse safety management system
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations
Performs other similar tasks and special projects as required and assigned
Conduct business in a manner that will protect human health, safety, and the environment by complying with all applicable EHS laws, as well at the Abbott Global and Technical standards
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
A third-level qualification in health and safety or a related field desirable
Proficient in computer applications, MS Excel, Office, PowerPoint and SharePoint
