EH&S Lead

The EH&S Lead will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day EHSS activities on site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading healthcare organisation in the South East.

Overview of Main Responsibilities (full job description available on request):

  • Active Implementation and development of the EHSS Management system.

  • Work with the existing EHSS team to ensure ongoing compliance with the EHS program.

  • Directly manage the EHSS program for the manufacturing area.

  • Execution of a systematic approach to risk assessments ensuring appropriate mitigation of risk.

  • Work with senior operations managers and the existing EHSS team to ensure the EHSS programs are effective and up-to-date.

  • Oversight of internal systems to support incident case management, risk assessments, EHS inspections, and internal and external auditing.

  • Ensure corrective actions and preventative actions are managed through to completion.

  • The role will oversee the day-to-day operation of the EHSS program.

  • The role will act as a Coordinator of the existing team and will have close liaison with the EHSS director to ensure site compliance with the plant program.

What the ideal candidate looks like:

  • Third level qualification in safety health and welfare.

  • Energy management & environmental management qualification is desirable.

  • Experience required in large-scale manufacturing facility is essential.
