The EH&S Lead will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day EHSS activities on site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading healthcare organisation in the South East.
Overview of Main Responsibilities (full job description available on request):
Active Implementation and development of the EHSS Management system.
Work with the existing EHSS team to ensure ongoing compliance with the EHS program.
Directly manage the EHSS program for the manufacturing area.
Execution of a systematic approach to risk assessments ensuring appropriate mitigation of risk.
Work with senior operations managers and the existing EHSS team to ensure the EHSS programs are effective and up-to-date.
Oversight of internal systems to support incident case management, risk assessments, EHS inspections, and internal and external auditing.
Ensure corrective actions and preventative actions are managed through to completion.
The role will oversee the day-to-day operation of the EHSS program.
The role will act as a Coordinator of the existing team and will have close liaison with the EHSS director to ensure site compliance with the plant program.
What the ideal candidate looks like:
Third level qualification in safety health and welfare.
Energy management & environmental management qualification is desirable.
Experience required in large-scale manufacturing facility is essential.
