Our client, based in the Cork area, is looking for a Documentation Controller for a 6 month contract position.

Position Summary 

  1.  Reviews and analyses released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality
  2.  Coordinates and administers assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, and accounting for specification and change documents.
  3.  Establishes procedures for and implements the introduction of changes to engineering documents for assigned project
  4.  Ensures that customer requirements are implemented
  5.  Reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with contract requirements and configuration management policies
  6.  Receives and indexes client, vendor and subcontractor documents
  7.  Document and drawing package printing
  8.  Scanning and processing of redlined submittal documents
  9.  Electronic file archiving
  10.  Documenting, scanning and processing tier checks
  11.  Provides support to team members as needed
  12.  Work with disciplines to instruct and enforce document control requirements
  13.  Administer and handle design and vendor documentation for assigned projects
  14.  Additional duties as assigned


  1.  2 years Document Control experience required
  2.  Minimum 2 years experience using EDMS (electronic document control systems) required
  3.  Strong computer skills required
  4.  Experience with Microsoft Office Applications required
  5.  Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills required
  6.  Experience with full size drawing plotters and scanners preferred
  7.  Experience with high volume copiers/scanners preferred
