As the Distribution Centre Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products in alignment with GDP requirements and standard operating procedures
- Establishing and maintaining quality control processes to uphold the integrity of pharmaceutical products
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and fostering exceptional customer service
- Managing proper storage conditions, including temperature control and expiration date adherence
- Maintaining an audit-ready warehouse environment for both customer and regulatory inspections
- Collaborating with senior management to structure the optimal operational resources
- Supervising day-to-day activities, providing training, and managing employee performance
- Handling customer inquiries related to orders promptly and effectively
- Coordinating with various stakeholders to resolve queries and issues
- Efficiently managing stock through cycle counting, consumption reporting, and trend analysis
- Overseeing logistics, including coordination with Freight Carriers for inbound and outbound shipments
- Developing and implementing warehouse KPIs for continuous improvement
- Reporting data and information to management on a weekly and monthly basis
- Ensuring facility safety, security, and hygiene standards are upheld
- Contributing to operational excellence and driving improvement initiatives
- Participating in projects and group meetings as required
- Presenting a professional image in interactions with internal and external stakeholders
Ideal experience and qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar pharmaceutical warehouse management role
- Expertise in managing people and processes, ensuring compliance with GMP and GDP
- Proficiency in ERP system management and usage
- Proven change management experience
- Exceptional communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Possession of a valid clean driving license
