Currently recruiting for Director of Supply Chain & Procurement EMEA.
The Director of Supply Chain & Procurement EMEA will lead all aspects of Supply Chain Planning, Logistics and Distribution & Direct and Indirect procurement of their global supply chain operational network for the region. The ideal candidate will drive the strategic vision and planning processes for support got to market model in the region, Logistics, Warehousing, Integrated planning and Inventory management, Direct procurement for manufacturing and Indirect procurement for the region while expanding and building strong relationships with Commercial teams, Manufacturing, Distributors, Suppliers, 3PLs (third party logistics) & Freight forwarding.
This leadership role will lead cross-functional and solutions to support regional/country growth, improve patient satisfaction, and reduce costs by translating customer requirements and implement regional/country supply chain strategies, systems, and business practices.
This role reports into the VP Global Supply Chain and will be part of the leadership team of EMEA Commercial SVP, Global Procurement & EMEA Manufacturing lead.
Supply Chain:
- This leadership role will lead cross-functional and solutions to support regional growth, improve patient satisfaction, and reduce costs by translating customer requirements and implement regional supply chain strategies, systems, and business practices.
- Develop and maintain the regional Supply chain strategy, structure, and policies necessary to ensure optimum supply chain performance.
- Lead the Operations & Network design & channel and partner with Customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and run end-to-end product supply chain capabilities and scale in the region with cost to serve and optimization, customer quality / reliability and other key company deliverables.
- Strategic planning and annual budgeting.
- Regional Sales and operations planning – Develop, lead and implement the regional S&OP aligned with Global S&OP.
- Implement systems tools needed to implement planning/forecasting systems and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting.
- Inventory & E&O management.
- Encompass, Direct and Indirect Materials and EMEA execution.
Procurement:
- The Procurement portion of this role will encompass, Direct and Indirect Materials and EMEA execution.
- Work with Global Sourcing (Direct and Indirect) for category strategy guidance.
- Develop resource plan for PSM support in region.
- Manage sourcing and spend to budget.
- Drive savings plan for Indirect and for Direct materials.
- Transact Purchase Orders efficiently, and efficiently using preferred system.
- Develop internal relationships and PSM as trusted partner.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified with MBA preferred.
- 10-15 years of Supply Chain experience with very strong global leadership experience
- Medical device/ pharma industry experience required.
- Manufacturing plus commercial supply chain experience required.
- Strong analytical and business acumen.
