Device Technician | Weekday Nights

Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is keen to hire a Device Technician to join their growing team in Sligo on a 6-month contract. The Device Technician will work as a team member in assembly areas in line with all safety, regulatory and organizational requirements on the Weekday Night Shift..

Key Responsibilities (Full job description available on request):

  • Preparing equipment, work areas and materials and ensuring/verifying readiness of manufacturing operations.

  • Supplying materials to the operations and equipment in a timely and safe manner.

  • Machine operation and Manual Handling

  • Updating operating procedures and job instructions to reflect current best practices.

  • Maintaining the overall cGMP of the production areas.

  • Comply with all company EHS policies and procedures and demonstrate EHS best practices in all work activities

  • Report any EHS incidents and/or Near Misses (unsafe acts and conditions) immediately to your manager.

Ideal background:

  • Previous experience of working in a regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.

  • Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent.

  • Certificate or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline is desirable.

  • Be computer literate.

  • Adheres to and follows all procedures policies and guidelines ensuring compliance with cGMP and ISO/FDA regulations and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
