Our client is a well-established, reputable brand in the vehicle manufacturing industry here in Ireland.
They are looking to hire an experienced Valeter to join their team in Kilbeggan. This is a full-time permanent role, with flexible working hours. The position is ideal for someone coming from a background of restoration of second-hand cars.
Responsibilities of Valeter:
- Washing and cleaning vehicles using specialized tools, cleaning agents, and techniques to ensure a thorough cleaning.
- Polishing, waxing and buffing the exterior of vehicles to restore shine and protect the paint.
- Vacuuming and detailing the interior of vehicles, including the upholstery, carpets, and dashboard.
- Cleaning and shining wheels, tires, and rims.
- Checking and topping up fluids such as oil, coolant, and windshield wiper fluid.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Following health and safety regulations, including wearing protective equipment and using cleaning agents correctly.
Ideal Valeter will have:
- 2 years experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of interiors and products required
- Strong attention to detail
- Have good physical stamina
