Experienced Design Engineer - Medical Device Industry

We are partnering with a leading company in the medical device sector to recruit an experienced Design Engineer. Key Responsibilities:

As a Design Engineer, you will:

  • Design and develop new medical products.
  • Conduct product and process evaluations and maintain accurate records.
  • Select raw materials, components, and suppliers.
  • Fabricate prototypes and test products.
  • Communicate project progress with customers and Project Managers.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities for products and processes.
  • Adhere to company Health & Safety requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to design and fabrication.
  • Proficiency with high-end CAD systems, ideally SolidWorks.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday with an earlier finish on Fridays.
