An Exciting opportunity for a Deputy Compliance Manager to join a leading aviation solutions company on a permanent contract. This position is available in Shannon, Co. Clare. In this role, you will ensure that organizational standard practices and procedures meet regulatory requirements and are validated for adequacy.

Overview of Main Responsibilities (full job description available on request):

  • Ensure the independent compliance monitor plan is implemented as planned, maintained, and continually reviewed and improved including feedback to the SMS system and the recurrent training program. 
  • Ensuring national and foreign aviation regulations are observed and implemented appropriately.
  • Liaising with NAA aviation authorities.
  • Ensuring process non-compliance including systemic findings, repeat findings, risk mitigation non-compliance, customer complaints, and technical safety issues are identified and communicated to the Compliance and Safety management, with ultimate feedback to the appropriate Accountable manager.
  • Monitoring the amendment of the organization’s procedures and standard practices and their compliance with the current revision of the applicable regulation plus any other applicable regulatory requirement and guidance material.
  • Ensuring the assessment and monitoring of subcontractors.
  • Compliance monitoring to ensure that all technical training is to acceptable standards.
  • Leading and supporting continuous improvement and alignment projects across all business units and compliance functions.

What the ideal Deputy Compliance Manager looks like:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • A relevant engineering degree from the aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, and avionic sectors.
  • Leadership skills in directing, delegation, and supervision.
