Opportunity to join a Global Healthcare provider as a Privacy Data Coordinator. To be successful in this role you must have a robust understanding of GDPR and data protection laws, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage risk proactively. The role requires effective coordination with various stakeholders, maintaining meticulous documentation, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations. This position can be fully remote or hybrid as desired.

Key responsibilities of Data Privacy Coordinator :

  • Manage GDPR/compliance projects using company processes and tools

  • Schedule, coordinate, document, and monitor data privacy compliance activities

  • Track tasks and completion dates, ensuring workflows are followed accurately

  • Monitor the regional 'threat horizon' to anticipate and mitigate risks

  • Pre-engagement screening and ongoing monitoring and auditing of sub-processors and service providers

  • Liaise with relevant authorities and client contacts for data privacy requirements

  • Update the register of data processing activities (RoPA) for new customers/products

  • Review and implement contractual arrangements with clients and partners

  • Maintain product and data inventory, including international data transfers

  • Document and track procedures for customer and product support

  • Monitor legislation and regulatory guidance for changes impacting agreements

  • Manage individual rights requests, incident management, and breach responses

  • Support contract management activities and track contractual requirements

  • Facilitate information gathering for audits and compliance reviews

  • Manage data privacy-related complaints and staff queries

Essential Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience in regulated, matrix-based corporate environments

  • Familiarity with contracts related to European data protection laws

  • Knowledge of data security and privacy disciplines

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills

  • Initiative in recognizing and raising compliance risks

  • Positive response to challenging work and deadlines
