Job Description- Construction Project Manager

An established building contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their growing team in Leinster. The successful candidate will initially oversee a large-scale fitout and renovation project within a food processing facility, managing the project from inception through to completion while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and BCAR compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to progress their career within a busy and structured construction environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage project programming, scheduling, and day-to-day site operations to ensure works are delivered on time and to specification.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams across civil, structural, architectural, and M&E works.
  • Monitor project progress and issue weekly reports including RFIs, procurement schedules, technical submittals, and critical project updates.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with contract specifications, building regulations, and BCAR standards.
  • Attend and lead project meetings, progress reviews, and daily whiteboard meetings to maintain clear communication across teams.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, meeting minutes, and site records.
  • Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, teamwork, and customer service on site.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial construction, fitout, or refurbishment projects in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of M&E installations and coordination of M&E works.
  • Construction-related qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • BCAR experience or knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and general IT/reporting systems.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage projects under pressure and work to strict deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Full clean driving licence required.
