An exciting opportunity for an experienced Commissioning & Technical Support Engineer to join our exclusive client, Glatt Ireland.
Glatt Ireland are part of the Glatt Group who are an internationally renowned pharmaceutical process technology provider dealing with many of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the country. This role will be primarily field based on many of these companies’ sites and will require flexibility in terms of travel and working away from home.
Role Responsibilities:
Execute the start-up, commissioning, calibration and validation testing of newly manufactured Glatt equipment and the associated control systems during the onsite project lifecycle.
Liaising with key pharma customer representatives onsite and ensuring their needs are met technically and works are done to a high standard as is the Glatt norm.
Mechanical/electrical works re preventative maintenance works, upgrades/retrofits and breakdown support on existing Glatt manufactured equipment.
Working with Glatt appointed sub-contractors onsite during installation and retrofit/upgrade projects i.e. mechanical and electrical contractors.
Undertake planned preventative maintenance/service visits and breakdown support on Glatt manufactured equipment.
Role Requirements:
A Third Level Technical Qualification is desirable however it is open to high level trade/craft qualifications.
Full clean driver’s license
Ability to prioritise and multi-task.
Team player and an open mind re the works to be undertaken.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
