Our client, a medical device leader is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician III to join their team in Galway on a 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
Perform technical and laboratory procedures including preparation of solutions, reagents, and routine reactions
Carry out testing, troubleshooting, and technical support on equipment and systems
Record observations, complete calculations, and prepare technical reports
Support Production, R&D, Quality, Compliance, and Environmental activities
Maintain GMP, quality, and regulatory compliance standards
Assist with laboratory setup, stock control, and equipment maintenance
Investigate technical issues and support process improvements
Participate in testing, data analysis, and continuous improvement projects
Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and written procedures
Maintain and analyse technical data using established procedures
Provide guidance and training to junior team members
Work independently in a fast-paced technical environment
Support safety, quality, and operational efficiency initiatives
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company procedures
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a technical, manufacturing, laboratory, or engineering environment
Technical, vocational, or trade qualification preferred
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience working within GMP or other regulated environments desirable
Excellent attention to detail and technical documentation skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within cross-functional teams
