Cleanroom Operator


Our client a leader in the Pharmaceutical Industry are seeking a Cleanroom Operative to join their Inverin facility.

Contract until 31/12/2026 initally | Rotating shifts days & evenings


The Role & What You Will Be Doing

The Cleanroom Operative will be responsible for compounding aseptically prepared products to required cGMP standards.

  • Participate in vial/syringe fills as per production schedule.
  • Clean filling room as required at end of filling.
  • Participate in jet printing activities when not involved in filling.
  • Comply with the required Quality Systems, GMP, Health & Safety and Environmental standards at all times
  •  To remain flexible in supporting the department in meeting customer requirements and business objectives

Perform other duties as assigned, this includes supporting the Packaging Dept. in Casla when required

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

 

·       Minimum of a Leaving Certificate and 0-1 year’ experience within a Pharmaceutical or medical device company, preferably in a cleanroom area.

·       Must possess previous experience of working to GMP regulations as well as gowning experience for a Grade C environment or equivalent.

·       Must possess knowledge of manufacturing processes within a pharmaceutical/ medical device environment.

 

Physical Demands

This position requires a lot of manual handling, involving lifting (sometimes heavy weights), carrying and climbing.

May be required to stand; walk; stoop; bend; kneel; and climb steps. May require use of hands and use of arms to lift and scoop. May be required to lift or manoeuvre boxes or containers using lifting equipment, as well as physically pushing, rolling or lifting. May be required to wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to: respiratory protection, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes and protective clothing. Heavy lifting requirements.
