Our client, an industry leader in containment solutions is looking to hire a Cleaning Operative to support the current Production Manager with cleaning duties. The role is split between two bases, one is in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork and the other is in Little Island, Co. Cork. This is a full-time, rolling contract and has no specified length.
About the role
The Cleaning Operative role will involve being responsible for the general cleaning of two premises in accordance with specifications that will be outlined in induction training. The role requires the individual to work as part of the Production Department under the supervision of the Assistant Production Manager.
Be responsible for all the basic cleaning on-site in the two premises.
Collect and remove rubbish and waste material to authorised disposal points.
Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of your duties.
Work on their own initiative and ensure that their area of responsibility is to the cleaning standards set by the company and be expected to represent the company and its clients in a professional manner, demonstrating the highest of company standards.
To monitor the stock of canteen and cleaning supplies in both facilities and liaise with the purchasing team for the ordering of new supplies.
