A growing utilities and infrastructure contractor is seeking a Civils Site Supervisor to support delivery of multi-disciplinary ESB substation and framework projects. The role suits an experienced civil construction professional with strong leadership, safety, and site coordination skills who wants to progress within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise civils works from mobilisation through close-out
- Lead and coordinate site crews on daily activities
- Enforce health & safety standards, PPE compliance, and safe work practices
- Monitor quality and ensure works meet drawings, specifications, and project standards
- Allocate tasks, track progress, and ensure programme delivery
- Coordinate with foremen, engineers, and supervisors to resolve site issues
- Oversee proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials
- Maintain records including progress, attendance, materials, and site reports
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
Requirements
- Proven experience in civil construction
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience on construction sites
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Valid Safe Pass certification
- ESB site experience desirable
