Our client is a leading wholesale company based in Cork. They are currently looking for an experienced Cashier to join their team. The Cashier will be a reliable and customer-orientated individual and will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while efficiently and accurately handling transactions. Initial part-time hours available with the possibility to increase hours in the future.

Working hours:

2pm to 6pm Tuesday to Friday

9am to 12.30pm Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service and assistance throughout their shopping experience.
  • Answer inquiries, address concerns, and offer product information as needed.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products available to assist customers with their inquiries.
  • Perform price checks on items as requested by customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organised checkout area.
  • Assist in restocking when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum Leaving Cert qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous cashier or retail experience is required.
  • Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
