We are looking for a Buyer to join our Limerick-based clients, to manage purchasing across a range of products and suppliers, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while maintaining cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain ERP data to support accurate MRP forecasting and inventory levels
- Manage replenishment to deliver strong service at optimal cost
- Build effective relationships with internal teams and suppliers
- Identify and reduce aged or problem stock
- Analyse supplier performance and support negotiation
- Resolve supplier queries (invoices, debit notes) promptly
- Handle urgent requests and keep stakeholders informed
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a buying/purchasing role
- ERP system experience
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
