Opportunity for an energetic and ambitious Business Development Manager to join an internationally reputable Irish food producer based out of Athlone. The business development manager will work with the Management team to create and achieve bold growth plans over the coming years and generate long-standing and successful relationships with clients. This is a permanent position offering hybrid working and flexibility.

 

Business Development Manager Key functions:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Generate leads and prospective customers.
  • Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases.
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management.

The ideal Business Development Manager will be:

  • Collaborative, a strategic thinker, highly motivated, an excellent negotiator
  • Adept at analysing sales figures and writing reports.
  • IT savvy; skills for data analysis, margins, budgets, LTA’s Promotions, market research formal business plans
  • Able to show a track record in business development and meeting and exceeding targets
  • Availble to travel internationally
