The Job:
We are currently working with a leading Logistics provider to recruit a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and profitability. You will lead the full sales cycle, developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Conduct cold outreach to generate new sales opportunities
- Prepare and present competitive pricing proposals
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers
- Understand customer needs and deliver tailored logistics solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery
- Lead client meetings to review performance and identify growth opportunities
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ B2B sales experience (logistics/freight forwarding preferred)
- Strong commercial awareness and proven sales success
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
