We have a new opening for a Business Analyst permanent opportunity Hybrid based position.
Reporting to the Knowledge & Collaboration Manager As a Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Business Analyst Team, working closely with internal clients, stakeholders, and the Knowledge & Collaboration Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in understanding business processes, analyzing business needs, and proposing application solutions in a fast-paced digital environment. This position is a permanent position based in Athlone with the only requirement to be onsite 1 day per week onsite in Athlone.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering Employ a variety of techniques such as interviews, workshops, documentation reviews, business analysis, and process evaluations to gather comprehensive business requirements.
Collaboration and Challenge: Work closely with business units, challenging assumptions to deliver solutions that meet current and future needs.
Evaluating Business Requirements: Evaluate business requirements from multiple sources, ensuring proposed solutions align with all inputs and resolving conflicts as necessary.
Specification Translation: Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications, utilizing plain English, diagrams, process flows, and scenarios.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business contacts at different organizational levels to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external teams, including 3rd party vendors, Enterprise Testing, Business Systems Analysis, and Application Support for the successful delivery of system enhancements.
Project Contribution: Contribute to and adhere to project schedules by providing accurate estimates and progress updates to project management.
Support Documentation:
Assist in the development of application support documentation to ensure efficient ongoing support.
Requirements:
Relevant Third Level qualification in either Business Degree, Business Analysis, IT or Project Management.
1-2 years Business Analysis experience.
Experience of working with various
departments and business users.
Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Keen attention to detail
Excellent client-facing and internal
communication skills.
Experience of building relationships with executive and senior leadership, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
