Our client is currently recruiting for a Bid and Content Co-Ordinator. This is a dual-purpose role focused on supporting our client to connect more effectively with its customers, via more compelling, concise, and consistent bids. As a new role, supporting a new initiative, this is an exciting opportunity to have a broad impact across a very diverse business. The Bid & Content Co-Ordinator will report to the Head of UK (Sales & Operations). As a dynamic and flexible business, this role is based on a four-day week and can be located at either their UK (Manchester) or Ireland (Ennis) HQ, or a mix of home and office working.


Main responsibilities:

  • General content library admin and assistance to maintain the integrity of the file hierarchy, file naming system, and tagging
  • Attending content development meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to map existing content and identify gaps
  • Arranging and attending (and leading) storyboard sessions to create new boilerplate. Agreeing timescales and resources needed
  • Researching and working with SMEs iteratively during the storyboard process to refine output, including the creation of impactful visuals
  • Transitioning storyboards to usable boilerplate and taking it from quarantine to live
  • Quarterly audits to analyse content library usage and boilerplate that is reaching expiry
  • Helping close the loop on content by regularly liaising with SMEs to seek new and / or any enhancements needed to existing boilerplate
  • Keeping the toolkit, style guide and library guide up to date
  • Booking reviews in SME diaries to ensure boilerplate remains accurate.

Experience required:

  • Intermediate to advance capability with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong copywriting, editing, proofing, written and oral communications skills (English)
  • Ability to create impactful visuals/images from written content
  • Excellent attention to detail and drive for perfection
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and SMEs
  • Exceptional project management skills with a get it done attitude.
  • Familiar with best practice bid management (tools and methodology)
  • Best practice in content creation and management.
  • Experience of working within a complex and diverse sales environment
  • Experience of working with a diverse mix of SMEs
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar function (bid / sales / procurement / marketing).
  • A-Level in English [highly desirable]
  • University degree or equivalent [desirable]
  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Accreditation [desirable]
  • Bid & sales, project management, and marketing training [desirable].
