Audit & Accounts Manager
Join a progressive, medium-sized accountancy firm in the heart of Dublin City Centre. Our client is looking for an experienced Audit professional who is currently operating at Manager or Assistant Manager level, or an ambitious Senior ready to take the next step into management.
Role:
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage a diverse portfolio of audit and accounts clients, lead and develop a high-performing team, and play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience. You'll have the autonomy to build strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of audit and accounts clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Lead, mentor and develop audit team members, supporting their growth and retention.
- Review audit and accounts files, ensuring quality, compliance and effective risk management.
- Manage WIP, billing and portfolio profitability.
- Build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Participate in networking and business development initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date audit technical knowledge and support continuous professional development across the team.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified with strong audit and accounts experience in practice.
- Currently an Audit Manager, Assistant Manager, or an experienced Senior ready to step into management.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead audit engagements.
- Strong people management, communication and organisational skills.
- Commercially minded with a proactive, client-focused approach.
