Assistant Site Manager

Our client is seeking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will be located in a Healthcare Facility based in Cork. The successful candidate must have previous supervisory/people management experience.

Core working hours are Monday to Friday, 8-4.30pm, but flexibility may be required occasionally depending on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all cleaning standards are met consistently.

  • Ensure compliance with HIQA standards.

  • Participate in Environmental Management Audits with hospital ward and department managers.

  • Complete monthly audits of areas as directed by the Site Manager.

  • Ensure implementation of corrective action, including re-audit.

  • Proactively gather feedback from customers with respect to hygiene and cleaning standards.

  • Manage the performance of the team in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Support Contract Manager.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team.

  • Complete attendance records, ensuring hours claimed accurately reflect hours worked.

  • Complete the training of new colleagues in accordance with company standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Supervisor or People Manager, preferably in a healthcare setting.

  • Excellent time keeping and attendance.

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English – written and spoken.

  • Ability to adapt to changes in schedules.

  • Self-motivated and a team leader.
