Assistant Accountant required with 3 years plus in over all finance. Part Qualified. West Co Galway.
Post and process Journal entries to accounting standards and policies.
AP and AR activities, issuing invoices and performing reconciliations.
To prepare monthly and yearly financial statements on the performance of company operations and of its net assets.
Ensure that proper books of account are maintained to satisfy management and statutory requirements.
Assist the management team in preparation of budgets and forecasts to take account of currently available information.
In conjunction with our auditors/advisers, to ensure that the activities of the companies comply with legal and statutory requirements.
To support the management teams in their efforts to reduce costs, reduce inventory and otherwise to streamline operations.
Managing self, to ensure that the organisational goals are achieved and are delivered in both an efficient and in effective manner, that will add value to both the Finance Dept. and to the company.
Part qualified ACCA with 3 years plus industry experience.
Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
Excellent time management skills and the ability to priorities those tasks that add value
Computer literacy (MS-Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet / E-mail)
