Our client is looking to hire an Area Sales Manager for their business to cover the South and Eastern regions of Ireland. Reporting directly to the Head of Group Sales, this exciting opportunity involves a diverse range of responsibilities that revolve around nurturing existing customer relationships and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Cultivate and expand relationships with both existing and prospective clients, ensuring repeat business within the designated territory.
- Proactively manage accounts to guarantee optimal customer satisfaction, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Develop and maintain robust, enduring connections with key accounts and Buying Groups throughout the region.
- Set, achieve, and surpass annual sales targets and key milestones, contributing to both personal and company success.
- Exhibit a strong drive for growth, leadership, and effective management of the sales territory.
- Uphold the integrity of the sales process and CRM, emphasizing the importance of key account management and superior customer service.
- Leverage substantial experience in journey planning and account management to enhance overall efficiency.
- Motivated and ambitious individual with a self-driven approach to sales.
- An extensive background in selling timber or building products is crucial, with a preference for experience in the builders' merchant sector.
- Effective communication skills are paramount, and the ability to engage with individuals at all organizational levels, including Directors, is essential.
- Comfortable working on the road and potentially being away from home 2-3 nights per month
