Our client is a leading manufacturing company with locations in both Ireland and the UK. We are on the lookout for an Area Sales Manager to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Group Sales, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a dynamic sales team. This is a field sales role, covering the East and Southern region of Ireland. An attractive package is on offer for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Repeat selling to an established customer base as well as generating new business.

  • Responsible for proactively managing customer accounts.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key accounts and Buying Groups across the region.

  • Achieve or surpass annual sales targets and key milestones from a personal and company perspective.

  • Exhibit a keen willingness to lead and expand the sales territory.

  • Maintain sales process and CRM for key accounts and service.

  • Proficient in journey planning and account management.

Requirements:

  • Be an ambitious, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual, with a proven ability in selling timber or building products.

  • Experience in selling timber products into the builders’ merchant sector would be an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels of the organisation.

  • Full, clean driving license.
