Our client is a leading manufacturing company with locations in both Ireland and the UK. We are on the lookout for an Area Sales Manager to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Group Sales, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a dynamic sales team. This is a field sales role, covering the East and Southern region of Ireland. An attractive package is on offer for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Repeat selling to an established customer base as well as generating new business.
Responsible for proactively managing customer accounts.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key accounts and Buying Groups across the region.
Achieve or surpass annual sales targets and key milestones from a personal and company perspective.
Exhibit a keen willingness to lead and expand the sales territory.
Maintain sales process and CRM for key accounts and service.
Proficient in journey planning and account management.
Requirements:
Be an ambitious, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual, with a proven ability in selling timber or building products.
Experience in selling timber products into the builders’ merchant sector would be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels of the organisation.
Full, clean driving license.
