An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technologist / Detailer to join a growing engineering consultancy working on a diverse range of projects across Ireland. This role focuses on transforming architectural concepts into detailed technical drawings and construction documentation, supporting projects from planning through to completion while collaborating closely with architects and engineering teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Produce planning, tender and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
- Prepare accurate technical documentation for all project stages.
- Coordinate architectural information with structural and civil engineering teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR requirements and technical standards.
- Assist with project scheduling, documentation and drawing revisions.
- Carry out site visits as required to verify dimensions and construction details.
- Support projects throughout the planning, design and construction phases.
- Qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in an Architectural Technologist or Detailer role.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR and construction detailing.
- Knowledge of technical drawing standards and building construction methods.
- Experience coordinating architectural information with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively as part of a collaborative team
