Administrator/ Accounts Administrator – 6 month contract – Oranmore Co Galway
Reports to: Research Funding Manager
Responsibilities:
- Check report and receipts received, then process purchase orders and payment requests.
- Assist with preparation of reports
- Request payments to evaluators for reviewing grant applications.
- Request submission of technical and financial reports.
- Update our research grant management portal.
- Draft press releases and social media articles.
- Assist with data compilation for reporting on the MI research grants funded.
- Any other related duties appropriate to the temporary support role and salary point.
- Previous demonstrated relevant experience working with financial reporting or funding bring the ability to meet the duties detailed in early course
- Familiarity with Budgets and Budgetary Management.
- Strong IT skills using Microsoft products, particularly Excel and Word.
- Numerate with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills, and ability to deal with persons in differing roles (e.g. academic staff and students).
- Able to take instruction and work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to balance multiple deadlines and ensure delivery of responsibilities.
