Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant required with 2 years plus experience for a well established company in Moycullen, Co. Galway. Permanent.


  • Creating sales invoices for customers.

  • Resolving customer queries and assisting with credit control.

  • Verify discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues.

  • Preparing Bank Reconciliations

  • Inter-Company Reconciliation

  • Assists with creditor reconciliations and payments.

  • Work as part of the team for month-end, taking responsibility for assigned month end reports as well as monthly statements, meeting strict month end deadlines.

  • Responsible for preparing Cost Analysis reports with a detailed variance analysis.

  • Support the team and other tasks as they fall due.


  • Minimum of 2  years’ experience as an Account’s Assistant.

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

  • Experience with Sage an advantage.

  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable experience.

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office and in particular Excel is essential.
