Accounts Assistant required for a well-established company on the outskirts ofGalway City.
Responsible for the day to day function of the Accounts Dept. Weekly Account, Posting invoices, making payments, reconciliations, bank & creditor recs etc.
Key responsibilities include:
Support the accounts team and perform duties across a number of accounting functions
Preparing Weekly Management Accounts for managers within the business
Keeping up to date with accounts email and incoming queries
Entry of invoices
Perform weekly/ monthly reconciliations
Create and process Weekly/ monthly creditor payments.
Accounting entries onto accounts systems ( Sage )
Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
Month end routine processes
Ad hoc projects.
Accounting Technician qualified with 3 plus years experience in finance.
Experience using Sage 50
Adept in the use of Microsoft Excel
Willingness to be flexible in the role
Attention to detail is important
