Accounts Assistant

Our client, a growing company in the North Cork area, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team. As part of the commercial project team, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for providing fast, efficient, and friendly service. This is a full-time, permanent role and will be based in Mallow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage one of the customer portals, including the distribution of purchase orders (POs) and overseeing the PO system.

  • Upload customer invoices to the customers' portal.

  • Distribute invoices and statements.

  • Administer proof of delivery notes for the company.

  • Process interim and final account payments.

  • Engage with project teams and report on monthly project commercial review meetings.

  • Prepare monthly financial status reviews for projects.

  • Generate cash flow forecast reports.

Requirements:

  • Previous 1-2 years experience in a similar position.

  • Proficiency in preparing and interpreting flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.

  • The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, work well on their own initiative and with fellow employees as part of a team.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
