Our client, a growing company in the North Cork area, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team. As part of the commercial project team, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for providing fast, efficient, and friendly service. This is a full-time, permanent role and will be based in Mallow.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage one of the customer portals, including the distribution of purchase orders (POs) and overseeing the PO system.
Upload customer invoices to the customers' portal.
Distribute invoices and statements.
Administer proof of delivery notes for the company.
Process interim and final account payments.
Engage with project teams and report on monthly project commercial review meetings.
Prepare monthly financial status reviews for projects.
Generate cash flow forecast reports.
Requirements:
Previous 1-2 years experience in a similar position.
Proficiency in preparing and interpreting flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, work well on their own initiative and with fellow employees as part of a team.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
