Accounts Assistant

The Role:

This Accounts Assistant role is based with a highly established company in Co. Monaghan, who are almost 50 years in business. The successful candidate will join the existing accounts team on a 12 month maternity contract.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Month end close procedures

  • Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations for review

  • Preparation of Weekly Financial Reports

  • Processing Stock count data on ERP system

  • Preparation of Bank Reconciliations

  • Control of Petty Cash

  • Supporting preparation of Export Documentation for Despatch Dept.

  • Preparation of CSO and other Statutory Reports & Surveys

  • Supporting the Finance and other departments during busy Christmas period

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar accounts position

  • Acct Technician qualification desirable but not essential

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Good People / Communication skills
