The Role:

My Client, a well established company based in Athlone for the last 28 years are seeking to hire an Accounts Administrator to join their small team. This will be a permanent, full-time contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and redirect as appropriate
  • Deal with customer account queries
  • Processing of purchasing and sales invoices and credit notes
  • Credit Control
  • Post payments to relevant accounts
  • Completion of bank reconcilliations 
  • Creation of new accounts
  • Preparation of various reports for management
  • General management of stock including recipts, returns and transfers

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years in a similar role
  • Experience in the use of Opera accounting package or another similar system
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft office package
