The Ernst & Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ competition was formally launched in Galway last Friday and was attended by over 60 business representatives. The event included talks from previous EOY finalists Fergal Broder (Lotus Works) and Tommy Griffith (CEO, PEL Waste Reduction Equipment). Each year Ernst & Young travel the length and breadth of Ireland in their search for leading entrepreneurs across all sectors and stages of development. This year they want to spread the word about the programme to entrepreneurs throughout Connacht.
Previous Connacht finalists have included: James Murphy (Lifes2Good), Kira Walton (Voya), Gerard Barry (Fintrax), John Power (Aerogen) and John O’Dea (Crospon). Ernst & Young want to see more excellent entrepreneurs from the region involved in the programme. This is an opportunity for Collins McNicholas to extend the invitation to our network within the greater Galway business community. The nominations window is now open so log onto www.eoy.ie for more details today.
