Hear from those working in Creganna Medical, part of TE Connectivity in Galway.
I am a Quality Engineer and have worked in Creganna Medical for over 3 years. I came in as a Quality Tech & I have been continuously promoted since as I was hungry to keep learning and developing my experiences and career. My first promotion was to a Quality Engineer in production, then to Quality Systems Engineer, and now to Quality Engineer NPI. A reason for working in Creganna Medical is that there is so much opportunity to transfer between areas to continue development as the company have a huge variety of departments. There is always room to learn and grow and be promoted.
Also, we deal with some of the largest companies in the world and it is a great experience to be part of the new developments and to see a company grow from 500 to 1200 people in just a few years.
I joined the Creganna Medical team back in August 2018. The first contact I had with the company was during the interview process & I was immediately impressed by the attitude of the interview panel. I got a sense of company loyalty from them mixed with bona fide job satisfaction. I was hired as a Design Engineer shortly after, and have enjoyed every minute of my time here so far. I am part of the R&D group which is one of the biggest groups I’ve worked in, but while here I’ve never had the feeling of being “just a number.” I feel the camaraderie in the office between all levels of employees, which creates an energetic work environment.
