Senior HRIS Specialist – Perm – Cork

Rare opportunity to join a leading mulitnational and be part of their Global HR Operations team. You will be responsible for driving process improvements and be given the opportunity to work on  interesting projects, and provide process and systems support to broader HR team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving service delivery for HR processes & suggesting process improvements for a cross-functional People & Culture (P&C) team;
  • Partner with the P&C Centres of Excellence (eg. HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Diversity, Learning & Development) to identify & deliver high quality, accurate & efficient P&C service support, data & processes to customers across the business;
  • Establish & drive the support model for programs, ie. Global Mobility, Immigration, etc. by working in partnership with Total Rewards;
  • Establish clear SLAs & manage the day-to-day service requests coming in to HR shared services;
  • Partner with Payroll to support timely input to the payroll cycles & ensure audit readiness at all times;
  • Execute & deliver HR services in compliance with policies, procedures or other agreed guidelines, while meeting defined service level agreements;
  • Ensure the knowledge base on the intranet portal is maintained to reflect the queries that come into Shared Services;
  • Monitor, review & update procedures, guidelines & documentation in line with current legislation & best practice;
  • Recommend enhancements & simplification of processes & procedures based on customer interaction & feedback;
  • Responsible for driving self-service adaption as part of service delivery;
  • Facilitate ongoing transfer of knowledge to enable the development of a Centre of Expertise within the team and to ensure a full back-up service is available;
  • Participate in adhoc P&C projects, user testing & data validation for system enhancements.

 

Main Requirements:

  • Degree in HR or other related field (CIPD membership preferred but not essential)
  • 5+ years’ practical experience in a HR Generalist (or equivalent) role, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Broad knowledge & practical application of HR processes & practices & employment legislation
  • Knowledge of processing payroll inputs
  • Computer literacy & prior working knowledge of HR information systems, preferably Workday
  • Strong, proven process & quality mindset
  • Basic project management skills, with track record of project delivery
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR systems implementation
