Product Development Engineer

The successful candidate will hold a key role within the Division. This person will be responsible for managing, coordinating and controlling the implementation of activities and projects and provide support for new product development projects.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Help coordinate key projects and maintain schedules and deadlines
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of projects and their scope
  • Apply Project Management Methodology and enforce project and GMP standards
  • Coordinate and liaise with the different functions within the organisation, develop goals, assign project tasks and ensure that the project goals are met
  • Provide clear direction to the Product Development Manager on product development requirements needed to meet customers and stakeholders expectations
  • Attend meetings and updates and provide feedback and updates

Education and Experience:

  • Ideally educated to degree level with a qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Project management experience preferred, but not essential
  • Good understanding of GMP requirements
  • Strong business acumen
  • Good protocol and report writing skills    
  • Proactive team player and customer oriented
  • A confident, organised self-starter with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
