Operations Manager – Mayo

Reporting to the Department Head, , the Operations Manager will be responsible for the strategy, planning & management of all aspects of the Business Unit to ensure that cost, compliance – FDA, HPRA, EPA, Safety & Customer Care requirements are met. The role will also provide support to the Business Unit Leader in achieving their operational goals & objectives.


As the Operations Manager, you will manage and motivate employees and coach and develop Operation Leads to support the company’s succession planning. You will work closely with the Business Unit Leader to develop and deliver a business plan and assist with budgeting, while also ensuring and requirements are met.


As this is a cross functional role, you will be required to represent the company and meetings and audits and participate in management activities, promoting cross training between departments. You will also directly supervise the activities of line supervisors and support staff.


On the administration side, you will co-ordinate QMS management and manage LMS/CORAL.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in direct people management, Pharma/Medical/Food Operations Management
  • Degree in a pharmaceutical science/engineering 
  • Clear understanding of working in a regulated environment
