In a lot of marketing jobs, you can feel you’re just a number. Not this one! Come and join a ‘Best Workplace’ where you will be able to prove that marketing works by bolstering our future success.
Founded in 1990, Collins McNicholas is an established and respected recruitment consultancy. In November 2015, three of our most senior executives led a Management buyout. Since then, we have been on an incredible journey of growth across Ireland. We have an ambitious expansion plan over the next three years and we want you to be an integral part of our future.
To support our ambitious growth plans, we have decided to create a new role of Marketing Manager to bring strategic acumen and fresh ideas that will excite and inspire the senior management of Collins McNicholas as well as all the staff. You have the opportunity to devise a marketing plan with your indelible stamp on it.
You will be responsible for a wide range of marketing functions including brand development, events, PR, internal communications, our web presence, social media, market research and the production of various reports. Consequently, you will have a multitude of skills and experience. We want imagination and innovation, combined with a hunger for data analysis, as we live and breathe our numbers. We don’t micro-manage, you’ll be allowed to build our marketing footprint with your strategies and our support and guidance.
The job is based in the town centre of Sligo, with occasional travel to regional offices across Ireland. If you’re fond of the outdoors, especially the sea, you’ll discover the best the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer on your doorstep.
We have been awarded ‘Best Workplace’ by the Great Place To Work Institute, three years in a row. We are also the recipient of Deloitte’s award for ‘Best Managed Companies’ for the past four years. Our people are what makes our company; there is an amazing camaraderie. We have long-term staff, who love working with us in an open and positive atmosphere.
This job would suit an ambitious Marketing Executive with a minimum of five years’ experience, itching to prove they can be a fantastic Manager; or a current Marketing Manager whose dazzling ideas are stifled by bureaucracy. You’ll work with brilliant people using the latest technology and a generous marketing budget, to show what you can do. We have a flexible benefits package that can contribute towards your pension and medical insurance and we are a huge advocate of training and development.
